Videos work now

Apparently the videos I have posted have not been working for those of you with Internet Explorer. And, since that’s probably most of you, I apologize. Only the truly informed work with either a Mac or Firefox. For you Windows users, I recommend downloading Firefox to use as your browser. It’s much better than Internet Explorer. I’m a geek, so I notice a difference; most of you likely will not. But, please, download it anyway. It will make me happy and you a geek. A “win-win” as it were.

For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about, I apologize. Enjoy Julie’s DVD and the one and only B-Money.

Gwenyth and Pad Thai

Tonight we decided to go out for some Thai food. There’s a great place up the road in American Fork called Thai Village. We got there at about 6:45 to find we weren’t the only ones with this idea.

We ordered Pad Thai, Thom Kha Kai, and Mussaman curry. All were fabulous. You can tell from the new pictures that Gwenyth was particularly fond of the noodles. I think that girl has gained 5 pounds in the last week. She eats anything and everything in sight, the little porker. The girls all enjoyed the food. It was great.

Inspired by the abomination that is B-Money (below), I thought that I would try to rip the DVD that Julie created for friends and put it on here. It seemed to work pretty well, but the file is pretty massive. So if you don’t have a hi-speed internet connection, don’t even bother. Of course my philosophy now is that if you don’t have a hi-speed internet connection, you should box up your computer, call it a day, and go read the newspaper, but that’s just me. I guess I need to work on the compression a bit more, but it’s not bad for a first try. I have no idea what would have needed to happen to do this on a PC (and what I would have needed to buy), but on a Mac it was a snap.

I’m also in the process of uploading some new pictures. My new internet connection is pretty fast with the download, but the upload seems a bit slower than it should be. There are some pictures of Gwen on the front lawn eating tots while we were moving, up to the girls out in a snowstorm today. Fun stuff.
